As Merhamet Teşkilatı Derneği, we continue our humanitarian efforts at the Merhamet School in Afghanistan, where we touch the lives of hundreds of children every single day. In a region where living conditions are extremely difficult, our school provides children not only with education, but also with a safe and caring environment.
At the Merhamet School, approximately 400 children receive education daily. The students attend formal school classes in the morning and continue with Qur’an memorization (Hifz) education throughout the day. With their books, notebooks, and classrooms, children experience a real school atmosphere and gain confidence with every new lesson they learn.
Alongside education, hot meals are served every day at our school. For many children who do not have regular access to food at home, these meals are a source of both nourishment and happiness. During iftar programs, children gather around shared tables, and the joy of eating together fills the entire school.
Throughout the year, food packages, bread distributions, and winter aid help ease the burden on families. Winter clothing, boots, and blankets provided during cold seasons ensure that children can continue attending school despite harsh weather conditions.
Pocket money given from zakat donations brings simple but meaningful happiness to children, reminding them that they are remembered and valued. In addition, collective circumcision programs create joyful and unforgettable moments for both children and their families.
Every day at the Merhamet School, one child enjoys a warm meal, another memorizes a new verse, and another experiences the joy of writing in a notebook for the first time. This daily reality is made possible by the trust and support of our generous donors.
As Merhamet Teşkilatı Derneği, we do not only deliver aid in Afghanistan; we work to build the future of children through education, compassion, and hope.
During the first week of Ramadan, we carried out food distribution in Gaza using the zakat and sadaqah donations entrusted to us by our donors.
Gazze’de hayat, her geçen gün biraz daha zorlaşıyor. Evler yıkılmış, aileler dağılmış, çocuklar güvenli bir uykuya hasret kalmış durumda. Biz ise bu zorluğun karşısında sessiz kalmamayı seçtik.
Bölgedeki kardeşlerimizin yaşadığı sıkıntılara duyarsız kalmadık ve ihtiyaç sahiplerine sıcak yemek ulaştırmaya devam ediyoruz. Her dağıtımda gördüğümüz umut dolu gözler, bizi daha da güçlü kılıyor ve dayanışmanın ne kadar önemli olduğunu bir kez daha hatırlatıyor.
